Barr Engineering provides environmental consulting services to clients across the Midwest, throughout the Americas, and around the world.
Its logotype is inspired by the mining process, featuring openings within the letterforms that metaphorically invite the viewer’s eye to penetrate the wordmark. Complementing this, the illustration and pattern system draws from the layered structure of soil, visually reinforcing the firm’s deep connection to the earth and its resources.
